Synopsis:

One afternoon, a masked gunman enters a boutique in midtown Manhattan. He demands money and despite receiving it, shoots and wounds the cashier. Then, before the shocked eyes of several women customers — including gospel diva, Glory B. and her secretary, Ms. Johnson — the gunman shoots and kills a woman customer, Rosa, a friend and an active member of Glory's and Ms. Johnson's church. Glory finds it strange that Rosa is shot and killed for no apparent reason.

Later, she learns that Rosa was divorcing her husband, Manny. Because of his violence, a restraining order was in effect against him. Would Manny be so inept as to shoot Rosa in front of several witnesses?

Glory's cousin's son, Detective Gomez, is investigating the crime. According to him, Manny has an alibi. Were there any eyewitnesses to place him at the scene of the crime? Can his alibi be broken? Can Manny be brought to justice?
